Step 1: Start with dry hair.

Step 2: Shake your CLOUD NINE Magical Quick Dry Potion heat protector spray to activate the lightweight conditioners, then spritz your hair to provide heat protection.

Step 3: Section your hair and secure it with CLOUD NINE Croc Clips.

Step 4: Select your temperature using the temperature control switch below the wide Floating Ceramic Plates. Temperatures range from 100-200°C. Variable Temperature Control provides a range of settings for a range of hair types. Style at lower temperatures for optimum hair health. Step 5: Smooth the Wide Iron through each section of your hair from root to tip. Our plates are infused with minerals that work miracles. Sericite and Tourmaline help to seal the cuticle and lock in moisture for shinier hair. The wider plate is designed for kinder styling for thicker, longer hair.

We recommend using the Starlight Wide Iron wide plate straighteners if your hair is longer or thicker than most. The wider plates are ideal for capturing more hair at a time, and speeding up the styling process. We've fit more tech in. Now you can fit more hair in.

How should I store my Starlight Wide Iron?
Store your Starlight Wide Iron straightener with care to maximise its lifespan:
Try not to tightly wrap the cable around your iron. Instead, gently loop it in the carry case. This greatly reduces the chances of wearing the inner wire. 

Protect your wide-plate hair straightener from scratches and chips by keeping the plug and plates apart. 

It's important to note that plate and inner wire damage is not covered under warranty, so care of these parts of your straightening iron is especially important.

How do I know when my Starlight Wide Iron is ready to use?
Once the Starlight Wide Iron is switched on, the green light will start flashing. Once ready to use, it will illuminate steadily at 150°C. To select a higher temperature, press the button with the arrow facing upwards and wait for the temperature to adjust.

Should the plates touch on my Starlight Wide Iron?
The plates do not touch on the Starlight Wide Iron. We have created our floating plates to glide over the hair rather than clamping down to ensure that hair is not damaged. When your irons are switched off, there will be a slight space between the plates, even if you press them together. Once they are switched on, this gap will reduce and they will glide smoothly over your hair for snag-free styling.

Does the Wide Iron have an automatic switch-off function?
After 30 minutes of inactivity, the Wide Iron will turn off automatically to protect your surfaces. Your style. Made safer.
