Step 3: Section your hair and secure it with CLOUD NINE Croc Clips.
Step 4: Select your temperature using the temperature control switch below the Floating Ceramic Plates. Temperatures range from 100-200°C. Variable Temperature Control provides a range of settings for a range of hair types. Style at lower temperatures for optimum hair health. How do I know when my Starlight Original Iron is ready to use?

Your Starlight Original Iron is ready to use when its green light starts flashing and 150°C is illuminated. Switch to a higher temperature by pressing the temperature control button and waiting for the flashing green light to pause next to the desired temperature. 

What temperature should I use my Starlight Original Iron at?

Should the plates touch on my Starlight Original Iron?

The plates on the Starlight Original Iron do not touch when placed together. We have created our floating plates to glide over the hair rather than clamp down. This is to ensure that hair is not damaged during styling and it does not impair the iron’s performance. 

How should I store my Starlight Original Iron?

For storage, we recommend keeping the plug of your CLOUD NINE straightening iron away from the plates to avoid scratching. Do not wrap the cord around the iron. Only put your iron away when the plates are cool. Use the Protective Iron Heat Guard to prevent heat damage to your surfaces while you wait.
